Jaguar E-PACE InteriorThe Jaguar E-PACE is a compact sized SUV.  Surprisingly, there is a lot of space in the front seat.  So much space, that we can actually recommend a mount for a tablet.

This isn’t the first Jaguar we have looked at.  We previously took a look at the Jaguar I-PACE.  This SUV has many interior similarities to the I-PACE.

A photo of the Jaguar E-PACE interior accompanies this article.  Windshield is going to work quite well.  Normal horizontal vents in the middle of the dash always translates to a good mounting location.  The dash has a flat location above the middle air conditioning vents a little towards the passenger.  Cup holders might work for a tablet on the passenger side.  No CD player.

Best Mount Locations in a Jaguar E-PACE

The windshield is one of two locations we recommend for a phone or GPS in a Jaguar E-PACE.

A favorite mount for this location continues to be the Arkon MegaGrip Suction Cup Windshield and Dash Mount.  The mount has a vacuum locked suction assembly attached to a pivoting arm.  The phone can swivel left, right, up and down.  The mount includes an adhesive disk that sticks to the dash and that spot in the middle of the dash can work well in the Jaguar E-PACE.

Got a Garmin GPS to mount in a Jaguar E-PACE?  This same mount can be used for that device too.  Just remove the cradle and adapter to expose the 17mm ball common to the cradle that came with the Garmin GPS.

It’s an excellent mount that comes with a 2-year warranty.

The Jaguar E-PACE center vents are located in an excellent location for mounting a GPS or phone.

If selecting this mounting location, consider the Andobil Air Vent Mount.  This mount can be used to hold most phone models with or without a case.  The ball and socket design facilitates a 360 degree rotation.  The included cradle opens to accommodate phones up to 3.75 inches wide.  The mount uses a unique locking clip to securely attach to horizontal and vertical vents.

Apple iPhone owners can scope out the Andobil MagSafe Air Vent Mount which is the same mount but with a magnetic adapter that pairs perfectly.

Tablet Mounts in a Jaguar E-PACE

Surprisingly, the cup passenger cup holder mount in the middle can be used to mount a small to midsize tablet.  This is a good location for running apps that do not need to be referenced while driving.

Consider this Cup Holder Mount for Tablets and Phones.  The mount includes two different cradles and has an extended neck to make the mount a little higher than others.  One for a phone and another for a tablet.  The mount is adjustable and solidly made to easily handle the weight of your tablet.  You will see a lot of mounts on the market for tablets or cell phones.  This is the only car mounts that offers two different cradles, one for the phone, the other for the tablet.  The tablet cradle will hold devices up to 12.9 inches but we suggest limiting it to nothing larger than an iPad Mini.

This Jaguar E-PACE mounting location will work best in the passenger cup holder and only with a tablet no larger than an Apple iPad Mini.  Anything larger is going to likely to be too big.  While not entirely pleased with this location, it’s probably the only place a larger device can be mounted in this SUV.

Summary

The windshield, vent and dash make the best phone and GPS mounting locations in a Jaguar E-PACE.  For a tablet with apps that do not need to be accessed while driving, the passenger cup holder is a satisfactory location in this vehicle.
