Mounts for the Blink Mini Home Security Camera

Today we will be looking at some alternative mounts for the Blink Mini Home Security Camera.  This camera was released in April, 2020.  We’re used to Blink’s wireless battery powered cameras but this is a totally different design. Mounting the Wyze Cam Home Security Camera

We recently got our hands on an inexpensive (and innovative) home security camera called the Wyze Cam.  If you’re looking for an inexpensive home security with some high-end features, it’s a good candidate. Mounts for the Wyze Cam Pan

Wyze Labs announced their first pan and tilt camera in late May.  The Wyze Cam Pan is a great camera offered at a bargain price that rivals many cameras selling for much more.  Being a pan and tilt, this camera covers a lot more territory than traditional security cameras so the mounting requirements are a little different in that you want to eliminate anything that will block the 360 degree view. Wyze Cam Outdoor Mounting Options

The Wyze Cam Outdoor is the company’s first dive into the outdoor camera market.  It uses a hub to connect to the internet which is similar to how Blink does it. The stock mount i what is used in the accompanying photo. We previously checked out a few other Wyze cameras.  We noted the limited availability of alternative mounts.  This camera has a poorly documented feature that overcomes this issue. Mounts for the Ring Indoor Cam

The Ring Indoor Cam is from the same company that makes the popular doorbell cameras.  Absent from the product line was an inexpensive indoor camera and this camera fits that role for the company. The Ring Indoor Camera was introduced in September, 2019.  It’s a small camera measuring 1.81 in. x 1.81 in. x 2.95 in. without the swivel stand. SimpliSafe SimpliCam Mounting Options

It makes logical sense that SimpliSafe would add a home security camera to their product lineup.  The SimpliSafe SimpliCam was introduced as a supplement to their already strong and varies product selection.
