The HTC 10 was introduced by HTC in April of 2016. The HTC 10 is the most feature rich phone announced by the company to date. For music enthusiasts, the phone features a dedicated tweeter and woofer. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 12 MP rear facing camera featuring optical image stabilization, face detection, BSI and autofocus. The phone runs Android 6 on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM. The storage comes in at 64 GB. This compares favorably to the best phones available from Samsung, Apple and other manufacturers.
Sporting a 5.2″ display, the physical dimensions are 5.74 x 2.83 x 0.35 inches (145.9 x 71.9. x 9 mm). These specs are very important because they are needed for selecting the right mount. There are no custom mounts that we are aware of for the HTC 10 so we are going to recommend some good mounts with universal cradles. The measurements given in this article are for a bare phone without a case or skin, so be sure to measure it if you are adding a case or skin.
Speaking of a case, this is an expensive phone, so splurge for a good case. We are big fans of Otterbox and Spigen when it comes to cases, but there are a lot of good brands out there. Select a dual layer case that combines a plastic case with a flexible outer skin.

Combined with an application like Waze on your HTC 10 creates an excellent GPS. I continue to like using a car vent for mounting a smartphone in GPS mode. Consider the Square Jellyfish Jelly-Grip Car Air Vent Mount. The Square Jellyfish Jelly-Grip mount can be used to hold most phone models with or without a case or skin. It has a ball and socket so the cradle so has the capability to be oriented downwards towards the driver versus the roof. This mount will work on flat vent slats that are 3/8 to 1 inch deep. The included cradle opens to 3 5/8 inches which will fit this phone just fine.
For motorcycle use, it’s important that you select a mount that has a well constructed cradle that is going to hold your HTC 10 very tightly so that it stays put through the vibration of a ride. We continue to be big fans of the RAM X-Grip line. Most motorcycles can use the RAM X-Grip Handlebar Mount. These are heavy-duty mounts mostly constructed of metal.
