Phone, Tablet and GPS Mounts for a Mitsubishi Outlander

The Mitsubishi Outlander is a nice SUV with lots of mount possibilities.  Let’s review what we observed. Mount Analysis It’s a nicely sized SUV.  The usual locations seem to be fully accessible. Windshield is nice and wide and not too far of a reach for the driver.  The vents are horizontal and located near the middle of the dash just below the display console so most mounts should work fine. While walking around my local Toyota showroom, I had the opportunity to check out the Toyota Highlander.  Nice SUV with lots of mount possibilities.  Let’s review what I discovered. The Toyota Camry is one of those vehicles that can accept almost any mount.  Not a lot that will not work in this car but there are a few locations that will work better than others.  Last week, I looked at the Jeep Renegade which was the exact opposite, almost nowhere to mount anything.  This restores my faith that car designers haven’t lost their minds. It’s like the Toyota RAV4 design engineers got together with a starting objective of making it as difficult as possible to mount anything.  This is one of the more difficult vehicles to mount a phone or GPS.  Forget about mounting a tablet.
