Mounts for a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Motorcycle

Mount Analysis The photo that accompanies this article is of a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic cockpit.  There are two excellent locations for mounting a device in the handlebar and clutch.  That’s typical for many Harley models.  While I suppose we could also go with a gas tank mount, I think it would look … Read more

Mounts for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

Each year I attend a large motorcycle event held in Northern New Jersey called Gooch’s Garlic Run.  It’s for a good cause and each year a few thousand bikers show up for the annual ride to downtown Newark.  Anyway, I always show up about an hour before the start so that I can get a good look all the bikes and take special interest in what mounts are in use.  I also noticed that the largest brand presence by far is Harley Davidson.  Hence, our article about mounts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Phone and GPS Tethers for Motorcycle Mounts

Mounts for the Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited Motorcycle

The Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited is almost as large as an SUV.  It also costs as much as an SUV.  This is a seriously large motorcycle.  You would think there’s plenty of good places to mount a phone or GPS but surprisingly not. We have the usual photo with this article that shows the Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited cockpit.  It’s a busy cockpit.  We’re going to concentrate on a few locations for consideration when mounting a smartphone or GPS. The Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited handlebar is a standard diameter.  That’s good.  It means most motorcycle handlebar mounts should fit fine.  Except for one thing.  It slopes … Read more
