I travel a lot and rent all kinds of cars.  Today, the good folks are Budget Car Rental were good enough to upgrade me a Toyota 4Runner.  That means its time for a vehicle specific article on how to mount a cell phone, tablet or GPS in a Toyota 4Rrunner. Most SUVs are easy to mount a mobile device within and the Acura MDX is a typical SUV.  I owned an Acura MDX for almost eight years and it was a great car.  One of the easier SUVs to mount a cell phone, tablet or GPS.  Lots of space.  Except for perhaps the dash, no unusual curves or bumps.  Lots of different places will work well in an Acura MDX but there were a few mounts and holders that simply won’t work.  Especially on the dashboard. Phone, GPS and Tablet Mounts for a Mercedes-Benz GLK350

I was able to get a look inside a Mercedes-Benz GLK350 the other day.  I instantly snap into MountGuys Labs mode to figure out what mounts will work. The Toyota Camry is one of those vehicles that can accept almost any mount.  Not a lot that will not work in this car but there are a few locations that will work better than others.  Last week, I looked at the Jeep Renegade which was the exact opposite, almost nowhere to mount anything.  This restores my faith that car designers haven’t lost their minds. The Ford F-150 is as big pickup truck.  You might think that every mount would work on a Ford F-150.  Turns out not to be the case.  We take a look at how to mount a cell phone, tablet or GPS in a Ford F150. The Kia Sorento is one of the easier SUVs to mount a cell phone, tablet or GPS.  Lots of space.  No bazaar curves.  Lots of different places will work well in a Kia Sorento but there were a few mounts and holders that simply won’t work.
