This is a new product for mounting your Sirius Satellite Radio in your car. We sell several kinds of mounts on eBay. Our original one uses the existing bolt that attaches your passenger seat to the floor. We have sold thousands of those and everyone loves them. However, we have gotten a few emails from people that cannot access the bolt and want an alternative. Well here it is.
This mount uses the same flexible metal rod but instead of using the car seat bolt, uses an extremely strong suction cup that attaches to your windshield. All you do is press the suction cup to the windshield then press down on the air lock and it's permanent until you press the the air lock back up then it comes right off. The suction on this pedestal is very strong and has a suggested weight capacity of up to 20 lbs. This pedestal installs without tools and can easily be transferred from vehicle to vehicle.
Don't worry about the sturdiness. This is a high quality product that won't budge. To test it, I drove down to the New Jersey shore this weekend and didn't have problem. It even stayed put when some guy rear ended me on the Garden State Parkway (true story). So now I have over $2000 of damage to my rear bumper. All done for the sake of quality assurance so buy extras to help me pay for my deductible! |
