Weighing almost 3 pounds, this mount doesn't use glue and isn't going to move once you have it in place. The heavy dash base features a smooth surface so that the suction mount can adhere directly just like on the windshield.
Wanna travel and not lug the heavy mount? No problem, the suction based mount can be removed to use on the windshield of your rental vehicle or just use on a second car.
