Phone, GPS and Tablet Mounts for a Jeep Wrangler

Jeep Wrangler.  Rugged.  Drives through anything.  People that have them usually love them.  But when it comes to mounts, this is a bit of a challenge. This is the first article on our site about a phone from Huawei and it’s a fairly impressive one at that.  The Huawei Mate 9 was introduced by the company in September 2016. Very impressive specs that rival (and surpass) some of the best out there.  An impressive 20 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera with 64GB of memory.  That’s impressive for the price. Phone and GPS Mounts for a Jeep Compass

The Jeep Compass is your basic small to intermediate size SUV.  Basic except for the mounting options.  Lots of non-traditional design points like round vents, sloping windshield and a raised seat rail. Those design features do not typically bode well for mounting a tablet, GPS or phone.  That’s a photo of the dash accompanying this article.  While somewhat restricted in mounting locations, we were able to find some good locations for mounting mobile electronics. How to Mount a Smartphone to a Microphone Stand

Now that many smartphones are as large as a small tablet, it’s possible to mount them to a microphone stand and actually see what’s on them.  My Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a 5.5 inch diagonal screen and measures 6.23 inches tall, 3.07 inches wide and .29 inches deep.  That’s not much smaller than a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.  So now it’s worthwhile to look at how to mount a smartphone to a microphone stand. Car and Motorcycle Mounts for the Moto Z Smartphone

The Moto Z was introduced in June of 2016 and has become fairly popular among Android fans.  Motorola has launched several variations of the Moto Z including the Moto Z Play and Moto Z Force.  The sizes of these models are similar and our mount recommendations will work on all three models. Like many SUVs on the market, the Chevy Traverse provides many options for mounting a GPS, phone or tablet.  The Chevy Traverse has a large interior and while there are a few locations that will not work, most places will work out just fine.  Good job Chevy.
